The Dogwood Trails Baptist Association exists to create movement through the work our local churches and combined efforts in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Developing Leaders
DTBA works with our local churches, state conventions and the Send Network of the Southern Baptist Conventions to plant new churches. If you have the heart of a planter and entrepreneur and would like to know what planting a church in East Texas would be like, we would love to talk with you and pray with about opportunities around us. DTBA recognizes the value of each church to our collaborative work. Every church adds a unique value to our communities. Our desire is that we strengthen our churches. Whether that is helping churches in times of transition, assisting a church in revitalization, helping churches find resources, or developing leaders, we are here to partner with and serve alongside churches.
Connecting Churches & Pastors
DTBA pastors are connected pastors who have a love for East Texas and Good News! We understand the unique challenges faces church leaders today. Through fellowships and cohorts, we desire to help our churches and church leaders to connect in such a way to foster an environment for healthy leadership. We subscribe to the belief that an isolated leader is an endangered leader.; connections matter.
